The Rev. Matthew Redrich is our pastor and teacher. He joined us, February 1, 2016—just in time for Lent! Pastor Matthew earned his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena in 2014. His undergraduate studies in Radio, Television, and Film were at The University of Texas at Austin. He has previously been on staff at the Irvine United Congregational Church, UCC; University United Methodist Church, San Antonio, TX; and First United Methodist Church, New Braunfels, TX.
A native of Abilene, Texas, Matthew grew up at Elmwood West United Methodist Church where he served on the worship committee and built their first website at the age of thirteen! Since then, he has been involved in ministry one way another. He is the most recent past moderator of the Southern California Nevada Conference and served as a delegate for General Synod 30 & 31. He currently serves on Section A of the Eastern Association Committee on Church & Ministry.
Matthew and his husband, Chris, live in Rancho Cucamonga and enjoy going to Disneyland, ice hockey games, and spending a night in watching Netflix or Hulu.
